What is this about?

Different types of applications require different types of architectures. You can not build a desktop application, a mobile app, a web-portal and a datawarehouse upon the same principles. Each type of applications has unique requirements, and different types have different, often contradictional requirements.

We are all into portals. We build portals since 10 years. Portals have their own, very specific, Requirements . Those specific requirements lead us to a specific architecture for portals. We have one. We call it ano-tecture. This pages are about it.
