What is MoSKito Control?

MoSKito Control is a central monitoring station that receives, handles and presents performance data, collected from multiple servers or applications.
Presenting "a bird's eye view" of the monitored applications, it gives a clear picture of the app's health for both Developers and Managers

Why Would You Need MSK Control?

MoSKito Control unites all MoSKito Components, forming an all-in-one, standalone, web-based Universal Monitoring Tool.

Through the concept of Main and Detail Screens, MSK Control displays an overview of all configured components and their detailed info.

The Screens display:

  • the state of the key parameters within the monitored apps (based available thresholds),
  • accumulated performance statistics in the form of convenient charts (based on available accumulators),
  • the last 5-minute snapshot from all available producers.

How Does It Work?

History and Current State

Originally developed as Healthcheck Monitor for the PARSHIP GmbH, it has been contributed back to MoSKito codebase by PARSHIP.

Right now, MSK Control is at the stage of intensive development: we are cleaning the code up and removing all sensitive information that might be there. However MoSKito Control will be located as additional module, out of the MoSKito primary code base on anotheria GitHub account
